I come across a lot of inspirational designs whilst browsing the ol' interwebs and thought it would be a good idea to put together a few of my favourites at the end of every month so i can reference them later and so anyone else can too. Click the photos to view the source.

Milkstreet
This is one of my favourite sites i've seen in a while. The typography and colour palette is gorgeous and feels modern but also elegant. My favourite part is when you click "start cooking" and it goes into a step-by-step recipe format, which utilises video incredibly well. I feel like if I were to make a recipe from there it would be very easy to follow.

Holocards
An interesting take on what "smart houses" UI could look like. Really nice colours, a lot more colourful than how a lot of movies seem to imagine futuristic UI will look like.

Storytrail
It has really cute animated illustrations when you first land on the page. The site utilises horizontal scrolling really well, I like how each city takes up the full page with a hint of the next city on the side–giving an incentive to scroll/click to the next. It also makes use of animations really well, bringing the page to life. I also really enjoy the line across the skyline, it adds character to the photo.

Pizza is life
Really nice piece of lettering for a statement that is pretty self explanatory really.
